Happy 239th Independence Day America!
On July 4, two-hundred and thirty-nine years ago, 53 brave men signed their name to the “The Declaration of Independence.” One line in particular stands out to me: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” As we collectively celebrate the independence of our country this weekend, may we not forget these brave men and the literally hundreds of thousands of brave men and women that have given their life that we may enjoy these valued liberties. Be safe, be kind and if you see a veteran or armed services personnel be sure to thank them.
